1. Locate and open the Messages app on your iPhone.

If the recipient’s phone number is not in your address book, enter it in the To: field. If you want to add someone who is using an iPad, you can enter their Apple ID instead. This is the third step to add someone in group.

5. Write the message you want to send. You only have to type it once.
6. Finally, press the “Send” button.
Last step is to add someone in a group text. Each new member you add will now receive that message. This allows all members of the text group to respond and see each other’s responses. Of course, recipients can unsubscribe from the group text at any time, or you can remove them yourself.
Anyone in the group text who does not have an iPhone is not using the iMessage app. Although, the color of the Send button will tell you who is and who isn’t using the iPhone. 4. Select “Add Contact.”
5. Enter the name of the person you’re adding (if they’re already in your address book) or their full phone number in the Add: field.
Again, if using an iPad, you can type in their Apple ID to make things easier.
