The Camp wildfire Kent festival is an 80+ activity event and also features live music, arts and crafts, food stalls, and more the best breakfast in las Vegas.
It was inspired by the fire festivals that were held long ago in historic villages across Britain. Camping at the festival is a popular activity.
There are various types of camping available at the festival; some sites are more luxurious than others. There are also glamping options for those who prefer a bit more comfort! The Camp wildfire festival has been running for the past six years.
It is typically held in June each year and it attracts thousands of people from all over the country. This year’s event will take place on the weekend of 26th – 29th Aug 2022 at the Kent Showground.
The event kicks off on Friday evening with a gala dinner attended by some of the celebrities who will be performing over the weekend.
Hosting of Camp Wildfire Festival

Campfire is an annual music and arts festival that takes place in Kent, England. The festival bills itself as “Britain’s most unique new festival”, and it’s certainly a world away from the vast canvas cities of Glastonbury or Reading. Indeed one of the great charms of Campfire is the camaraderie fostered by the relatively small number of attendees (no more than a couple of thousand), the sense that you’re all in on a cracking little secret. This year we were fortunate enough to attend Campfire for the first time in June. The weather was perfect – warm but not too hot, not too sunny (there were a few showers, but nothing too severe), and fairly calm. The campsite was easy to find and had plenty of space, it was well kept and clean and there was a variety of food and drink available all weekend long.
There will also be various workshops throughout the weekend which cover topics such as bushcraft and survival skills. On Saturday evening there will be a fireworks display to mark the final day of the festival.
The event runs until 11 pm on Sunday but many people choose to stay over and enjoy the music and performances for the remainder of the night. The festival ends on Sunday morning with one last performance from the headliners and a final celebration of everything that has been achieved over the weekend.
Activities at Camp Wildfire Festival

At Camp wildfire, we love nothing more than spending time with our family and friends. Whether it’s playing games, swimming in the pool, or simply taking a relaxing walk on the nature trail, there’s always something fun to do here.
Other activities include live music from multiple different bands and a children’s entertainment area which features fun activities for all ages. There is also an art exhibition featuring the work of local artists and an artisan market featuring crafts made by local craftspeople. Saturday is all about the music – the festival will feature performances from artists such as James Morrison and Caro Emerald.

My experience at Camp Wildfire Festival

I had a great time at Camp Wildfire last time and I got to meet lots of interesting people and watch some great musical acts. I especially loved the Bushcraft and Survival Skills workshop that took place on Saturday morning. It was so informative and interesting!! I felt like I learned a lot and now feel a lot more confident when it comes to handling emergencies.
The festival attracted a large crowd this year, there were even a few celebrities in attendance, including singer Paloma Faith and TV presenter Dermot O’Leary. There was also a strong focus on sustainability and the environment this year and there were some seminars held on environmental issues during the weekend. I enjoyed Camp Wildfire Festival this year and it was great to spend the weekend listening to some great music and enjoying spending time with my friends.
The attention to detail and the hard work that has gone into all the little touches have made the whole place feel like home-they aren’t messing about when it comes to creating the perfect immersive atmosphere! It’s a great place to switch off and forget about the outside world for the weekend and get back to nature.
However, if you’re feeling lazy you can also just grab a blanket from the camp shop and spend the whole day relaxing on the grass listening to live music, and catching up with friends! It does cater to everyone – whether you want to party all night or just want a chilled day by the river in the sun, you can find somewhere that suits you at Campfire!”
Conclusion
The Camp wildfire Kent festival is an 80+ activity event that takes place over the weekend of 26th – 29th Aug 2022. This event is perfect for anyone looking to have a fun weekend, with something to do every day. Whether you’re there with your friends, your partner, or even your children, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Activities are going on every day of the festival, varying wildly between archery, axe throwing, yoga, and more – there is something for everyone to enjoy!
There are also plenty of activities to get involved with in groups too! A big highlight of the event is the food: everything is cooked on-site in the camp’s kitchen and locally sourced wherever possible, so you really can feel good knowing that the food you eat at the festival is made using only the best ingredients. On top of this, all of the waste food that is produced in the kitchen is then used as compost by the Campfire team to make the ground around all the tents even better looking than usual!
Another great thing about the festival is that it pushes you outside of your comfort zone and encourages you to try new things – for example, my friend and I took part in a drum workshop on a Saturday morning and came away with a real love for the ‘cajón’ drum! I’d never played anything like that before but it’s something I want to try more of in the future! “Campfire is not just a festival – it’s a movement” reads one of the banners as you walk into the camping area. It feels like the whole team has put their heart into making the place as enjoyable as possible for people.
