The movie is full of compelling themes and characters, including Maggie’s journey from victim to champion, Frankie’s transformation from jaded coach to a compassionate mentor, and the friendship between Maggie and her son, Danny (Aaron Eckhart). The performances of all the actors in the film are excellent, with Morgan Freeman, in particular, giving an outstanding performance like Frankie Dunn. He arrives on campus unaware. That his twin sister relaces him.
